How Michael Foundation helps orphans and widows in the Middle East:

The Michael Foundation’s plan is focused on providing direct support to widows and orphans in the Middle East, with the goal of creating a better future for them. By working closely with local NGOs and communities, the foundation can ensure that aid is delivered effectively and efficiently. With the support of dedicated volunteers and generous donors, the Michael Foundation can make a significant impact on the lives of widows and orphans in the Middle East.

  • Establish contact with widows and orphans in the Middle East through a reliable route to operate effectively and safely.
  • Provide immediate support to people in the immediate environment who need help and support in the first three years.
  • Expand support to widows and orphans in one country in the Middle East in 2024 and to three countries by 2025
  • Provide clothing, shelter, food, and financial support for the education of children in the Middle East.
  • Recruit a fixed group of volunteers and secure sufficient financial resources to achieve the foundation’s goals.
  • Increase fundraising by 10,000 euros per year to expand the foundation’s reach.
  • Work closely with local NGOs and communities to ensure that the aid is delivered effectively and efficiently.
  • Create awareness about the plight of orphans and widows in the Middle East through various means, including social media, events, and outreach programs.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve the effectiveness of the aid being provided.
  • Expand the number of volunteers by one person each year, with the goal of having 10 volunteers within 10 years.

Statutory Objective:

“The statutory objective of Michael Foundation is to provide support and assistance to individuals in need, with a special focus on widows and orphans in the Middle East. The foundation aims to improve the lives of these vulnerable individuals by offering direct support and addressing their various needs, including shelter, clothing, food, and access to education. The ultimate goal is to empower them to build a better future for themselves and their communities.”

Intended Activities:

Direct Support in the Immediate Vicinity:

  • Identify individuals and families in the immediate vicinity who require assistance.
  • Provide temporary financial support to those facing immediate hardships, such as widows or orphans who moved from Ukraine to the Netherlands.
  • Address complex issues faced by families affected by war, poverty, and disease, offering comprehensive support to improve their circumstances.

Support for Widows and Orphans in the Middle East:

  • Establish reliable routes and contacts to reach widows and orphans in the Middle East who are in need of support.
  • Collaborate with local organizations and communities to identify the most pressing needs and develop targeted assistance programs.
  • Provide essential resources, including shelter, clothing, food, and financial aid for education, to widows and orphans in the region.
  • Empower widows and orphans through skill development programs, vocational training, and access to employment opportunities.

Volunteer Engagement and Recruitment:

  • Recruit and train a dedicated group of volunteers who share the foundation’s vision and are committed to making a positive impact. One volunteer has already joined.
  • Provide volunteers with appropriate training and resources to effectively support the foundation’s activities.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive volunteer community that fosters collaboration and continuous learning.

Fundraising and Resource Mobilization:

  • Develop a comprehensive fundraising strategy to secure the financial resources necessary to fulfill the foundation’s objectives.
  • Organize fundraising campaigns, events, and initiatives to engage individuals, businesses, and organizations in supporting the foundation’s cause.
  • Maintain transparency and accountability in financial management, ensuring that donations are utilized efficiently and effectively.

Collaboration and Networking:

  • Establish partnerships and collaborations with other charitable organizations, NGOs, and relevant stakeholders to maximize impact and reach.
  • Participate in forums, conferences, and platforms to exchange knowledge and best practices in supporting widows and orphans in the Middle East.
  • Advocate for the rights and well-being of widows and orphans at local, national, and international levels, raising awareness about their challenges and needs.
